Ive broken 90 with my pb of 89 and would love to get to a standard where I could regularly break 80. A feat that would probably take more than one season but I feel up to the challenge and a new set of clubs would definately help! ;)
I've only been playing since Jan last year and my handicap kept getting higher the first few months but then I started to play a little better and got cut. What a feeling that was and now I want to go as low as possible. I think its only natural to want to better ourselves and I'm no different .
Using one from my local club, I occassionally buy markers from clubs I visit but I always use the same one. My wife also bought me one of my favourite football team but I don't want to get ribbed over who I support as well as my bad rounds!
Private course and has only recently employed a course marshall to oversee that members dont hold up play and keep within the 4hr 15min time limit on competition days.
I feel it is a complete waste of the clubs resources as the committee of the club can tell how long each 4 ball has taken as all...
Welcome fellow newcomer!
Getting lessons from my clubs pro was the best money i ever spent, you could buy all the latest gear but without knowing about shot alignment or the correct grip you would be lost in this wonderful game
Good luck with the handicap
