I'm getting this myself on desktop, this is unrelated to the maintenance and I'll see if I can get it removed ASAP.
Full disclosure this may not happen immediately and it does not seem to be universal, but it is incredibly annoying and I am seeing it myself.
Just wanted to update that this has been reported, I can absolutely see the issues with the ad and even though I'm deaf I can hear it coming through my headphones on the other side of the room. I'll be chasing it up again if it isn't resolved by this afternoon - thanks to everyone who messaged...
Fixed it, looks like when we put fixes in the other day it adjusted ellipses settings which is a pretty bizarre interaction.
Let me know if you see anything off elsewhere!
Hopefully a final update here!
With the fixes to the login we've been able to deploy a fix which should eliminate these popups going forward. If anyone encounters one after today please raise it here and I can investigate.
This should actually be resolved now, turns out there was a weird configuration buried deep in the darkness. I just ran a few tests and everything seemed fine and smooth, I'll be keeping an eye on it, but as of now it should be resolved.
Touch wood.
Waking up, it looks like it kicked back in again this morning. I'm unable to login using my test accounts and I've had a few reports alongside those in this thread.
If you've managed to login, I'd recommend not logging out while we try to resolve this. I understand you'll likely have different...
It can crop up from time to time, but today was a little more widespread than we'd normally expect - it also stopped us fixing the ad popups.
Hopefully it should now be resolved!
Hey folks,
I've been getting a few reports of people encountering an issue where their accounts are temporarily locked out due to login attempts despite them trying to login just once. I'm investigating this now and if you're running across the problem and looking for help, please mail me at...
Hey all,
I'm hoping that we can get this resolved ASAP, there are some issues that are preventing it from going live and it's bugging me as much as you folks. The moment that it's been fixed you'll be the first to know.
Just a quick follow-up in case anyone looks for an update - we have a fix but it'll take a little longer to implement than we initially expected. As soon as it's rolled out I'll let you folks know and ask you to let me know if you encounter it post update.
A fix still needs a bit of work before it can be put in place, hopefully within the next few days. It's not something we take lightly at all and I totally get how irritating it is.
