OK..thanks....didn't know that one...both my PP didn't know either....one of them said I couldn't clean it whilst the other said I could...neither of us knew we could drop it one club and certainly not on the fairway......school day toujours.............thanks!
Hi all...
Had a plugged ball in rough last week.....just off the fairway (20cm)....I know you can lift, clean and drop it within one club length in the rough.....but can you therefore drop it on the fairway if it is within one clubs length from where it was plugged?
Thanks,
M
Thinking of doing this myself........mine is a nice short 12 hole (9 in competition)..parkland course. 12 mins away Take that as muddy for 3 months of the year. Been there 5 years....it has greatly improved in the 15 years I have known it.....but the course is a bit too easy and not really...
done a bit more investigation on this player and last year he had a couple of withdrawals as well....don't suppose he was sub par when he threw in the towel........interesting dilemma.
nice clarification......however, this was the player who stopped after 9 holes due to injury...so a bit odd?! If it were me, I would slope off home......not saunter around the par course as a caddie......
Thanks for reply......agree it's very hard to see if they are taking the pee...and if someone is injured then fair enough....but I think we are lurking into the shadows here.
And yes, we did have to wait to play our shots.
Can't avoid playing with him because I don't select the tee...
Hi all!
Played yesterday in a stroke play comp. Tough windy conditions, with Mickey Mouse pins and concrete greens.....anyhow's.....playing in a four ball...after 4 holes my playing partner (pp1) was 7 over (his handicap is 3.9) and was not playing well. After 5 holes he started to complain...
Great thread this...I'm 53, play off 5 and looking to get my speed up. I have ordered the PRGR launch monitor which should be with me next week. I have made three speed sticks at 255g, 290g and 335g out of three driver shafts and even ordered an outside driver net! I couldn't afford the complete...
Thanks for this...didn't know this and stears me towards FJ of which I have two very old pairs....so I know they fit I may give Clubhouse golf a call as they are my preferred route to online purchase. No golf shops here at all and the pro shops are very poorly stocked. Wouldn't normally worry...
Hi team!
I've been trying to find some new golf shoes for a couple of months, either Dryjoys Tour or Adidas Tour 360, spiked, size 11 normal fitting i.e not wide. Don't want black colour but open to other colour combo's. Thing is, I just can't find them anywhere on the web.........are new models...
well...hadn't thought of that one. Our greens are quite slow and imagine most matts are much quicker....maybe a bit of astro is the way to go! Unless anyone out there knows of a slow matt?

Hi everyone!
Just preparing for my bleak winter and looking for an indoor putting matt to put over floor tiles (50cmx50cm) I have the auto return hole thing but just wondering what the putt out matt and cup were like v Welling for example. Just looking for 3 m and will be permanently down in...
I know......it was mainly due to the fact that my brand new Pro V1 was only a few holes old and I was more concerned about that!
Next time I'll just play 3 off the tee....i.e. no provisional.... and then have a look for my ball.

The cursory glance would be OK is suppose...but my ball was in the deep thick stuff....probably a good 10m in.....one bounce off the back of the bunker and it went racing in. You would have to stand on it to find it. The fairway gently curves right until it hits the corner then 90 degrees to the...
