I'd be happy to join in, maybe take the reign....I'd also throw in my home course Littlestone as an alternative course of equal standard but lesser cost.

Thanks, so reading the post above he wasn't in the bunker, he had played from a prepared area and his ball was now plugged in the wall of the bunker that has unprepared sand, grass and soil creating the bank on which the green sits. This is where the person took their drop.

The details of the prices come from a member I know who'd been contacted by the club. In Kent it does make it an expensive course. It's pitching itself against the likes of princes (joint owners), the London club and Rye. Even Littlestone which is an equally as good course is only £1500...

They're certainly trying to recoup some of their investment in the memberships fees! Renewal membership: 7 day: £2,700, 5 day £2,100. New members: £3,000 joining fee, 7 day £3,100 per year, 5 day £2,500. :eek:
