Hapless - you could always try and pull the old "I've had them ages". Seems to work for my ID with her clothes and shoes.

Thanks for the advice guys. My wallet and head agree with what you say, so I will trawl the net and see what springs up.
I am flying American incidently and they have some allowance for clubs but will need to check what that is.

What's the software you use for your score - haven't looked in detail but the whole stats analysis would be really helpful for me.
Whilst I am in no doubt Powkaddy's are a top piece of kit, I found them a little to pricey.
I managed to pick up a Powerbug Sport X with 36 hole battery from my local Costco for £200 and it is perfect for what I need - humping the clubs about the course, not worried about distance control...
