Played clun singles matchplay on Friday. My opponent was off 19 myself off 11 giveing him 8 shots. I played the from 9 in 3 over the card and was 2 down. The back 9 went in a similar fashion. Played Saturday morning frindly game and got 35 points happy with the way I played.

Consistency and a better short game I am sure would get me down from 12 to 10 and below. When I am on song I can play down to 7 or 8 but not often enough.

Fianlly the annual golf trip to Spain has just about arrived and the weather is forecast to be awful. The ironic part is the great weather forecast here this week. Fingers crossed the forecast is wrong.

I seem to be having a spell of standing over the ball and feeling very uncertain. This is having an effect of me struggling to start the swing. Once I have started the swing the result is OK, it just seems to be a problem at address. Has anyone else experienced this and how did you get around it?
