Well, I hope I did Scotland justice!....I know I regret the places I didn't get to see...still, I got to see/do much I hadn't expected....

A long overdue tribute to Scotland...I had too much family "stuff" that kept me from completing the album of pix but coming back to them last month brought my memories back full blast with great feelings....

No animals were hurt in the course of my golf game in Scotland. I did however hit the electrified wire that ring the greens one time but the ball still kicked on to the green.
...and yes I had a lot of fun on and off the course...my short game was reliable (2 of 4 sand saves around the greens...

Have had little time at home....flew 1k miles for a family gathering this weekend 2 days after my return....just posted the pix and will later add...
I took time to "smell the reeds" inbetween bouts with the wind and rain and when the sun peeked through.
The celeb photog at the Alfred Dunhill Championship kindly shot me on The Bridge....
Prestwick St Nicholas #2 my first par in Scotland: chipped from the white wire rings at the right to...
Dornoch was lovely with just the right amount of wind and rain (more spray really) to be a challenge. Though I had a lot of par putts, this was the 1st round with no pars but still enjoyable nonetheless...scored 101...lost two balls.
Highlight was bunker play... found two, one out for a 2 putt...
All the courses were in great shape for the time of year and the tiny tining of the greens.
As for weather, Dunes and Tain were abandoned, but for this group of one and two. One kid did catch up to me but he waited for the bad weather to pass and played just nine...LoL. He was really good...

For my trip to Scotland next week, I'm bringing 3 levels of waterproof gear each with different ratio of water repellency (100% slickJ) to breathability (ripstop nylon)...making sure the pants overlapped shoes. One jacket is a motorcycle rain-jacket! I'm sure it will be interesting to play in...
