    Plastic carrier bags!

Paying 5p for a bag already happens in Wales and Scotland. Therefore I doubt it will kick off over here. Yes some people will grumble but we're british you just get on with it. It's only 5p per bag. If people have an issue they will quickly learn to bring your own bags...which imo is good practice.

    My golfing Gary Neville...

It would have to be my Nike sasquatch 5w, I could never hit but this year it's just clicked. When ever I need to hit a fairway or just hit a lovely shot as I'm playing through a group, I can trust it.

    Average forum distance Vid.

I like how they said "you've got a 20ft putt for eagle" when it took 8 attempts to reach the green. Still very impressive though.

    Carry on regardless...

I'm the same. I'll be addressing the ball and it will not feel right. Instead of standing back and starting again, I will shuffle this way and that...ultimately finishinh where i started. Swing and send the ball nice and straight but miles to the left. I knew my direction felt wrong...so why...

    Club Adjustability

Adjustable drivers are great. I got fitted for the G30 Lf tec at 10 ° but was adjusted to 11 °. Recently I've been working on my swing to fix the slice. Now I've curtailed the slice but have a ball flight that balloons and has no roll out. So at the range tonight I changed the loft to 10.5 °...

Golf committees are killing golf clubs....

I think the resistance to his company is that Its a rather simply idea of selling vouchers for a reduced green fee...so simply that the club could easily do it themselves without having to split the profits. You could easily do a loyalty card scheme where you play 5 rounds get the sixth free...

Monthly poll: what's the most you've paid for a green fee in the last 12 months?

It was £50 at course number 2 at Gullane GC. Normally I would stay close to £20 as I'm a PhD student but as it was my birthday I thought I would treat myself. And a treat it was! Gullane #2 was in fantastic condition, the course was very enjoyable to play and some great views. Added bonus...

    Sky coverage of LPGA!

It's not like the R&A completely overlooked the BBC for more money, the BBC didn't even bother placing a bid! They are even considering giving up the rights for the 2016 open. Shows you how much golf meant to the bbc.

    Serving Visitors to the Clubhouse

A club I play regularly at is Dunstanburgh Castle Gc, i bet its one of the northumberland courses what Lord Tyrion was mentioning, which is by some of the best coastline in England. As a result it is always busy with walkers as well as golfers having lunch or a drink. Which I think is brilliant...
