Paint the offending area the very best you can. Let the paint harden for a couple of weeks. Use t-cut or similar to polish out the brush marks.

I've just gone from having 2 hybrids to one. Instead of a 19 and a 24, I've now got a 4 iron in the bag and got a TM Stage 2 22 degree hybrid. It goes for bloomin' miles! The trajectory sets off nice, peaks high then drops lovely and soft. I'm loving it.

Just try a driver with more loft. It's probably the loft of the 3 wood that is helping you out. Maybe a 13 or 14 degree. There are more drivers out there than the current TM Slider range. :D
