We are using the 150 rule at our club to save the fairways as much as possible. The white line runs horizontal at every 150 yd marker and there is one at about 40 yds from the green. If you land between these lines, you must pick up and move to the edge of the fairway and place in the first cut...

Bought some of these at the start of the winter season for £35. Great shoe for wet conditions which it normally is in Burnley. I'll slip the leaking Adidas back on in the summer though coz they're so bloody comfy.
