I'm thinking of getting rid of my 3 hybrid as I just can't get on with it. Only use it off the tee as I'm useless with it off the turf. My mates got an old (2008) AP2 3 iron which I'm thinking of having, it's got PX 5.5 in it. Will it play much different to X100? What will the flight be like...

Haha great thread, and yes I also seem to play better on links. My home course is a tight parkland, and my short game is loads better than my driving I'm a bit of a 'stato' and my GIR is better on links courses.... Must be some reasoning behind it?

Can't agree with this more. As for Kucher, I think Westwood summed it up perfectly. Most of us would have done the same given the gravity of the situation

every once in a while ill try somthing new.... usually if the shiney packaging catches my eye in the shop. But i always end up going back to the pro v1x. I'd say i'm playing that 95% of the year. Cant fault it to be honest.

Anybody made the jump yet? Just interested what peoples thoughts were and if its worth the money. Were you recomended a different shaft the previously? 910's still fetcheing decent second hand money to soften the blow.
