Re: Irish Craic Classic 2012 Ballyliffin 26th & 27th May Deposits now being take
Judging by the forecast the golfing gods are smilling on you, which makes not being able to go all the more sickening
Ok thanks, we will only get out at most twice during that week so I will check with Enniscrone pro shop to see about the open days, one of the lads at work told me to play Carne so will look into it too.
Any members of golf courses in West Sligo/North Mayo? Myself & the family & another family will be staying for a week in Enniscrone at the beginning of August & was wondering if there are any members of golf courses nearby who would be willing to take myself & my mate out for a round? Obviously...

I'm a definite no no this year I'm afraid, the wifes working that Saturday & Sunday so I'll be looking after the young lad. No one told me that having children would interfer with golf...

I'm almost certain I won't be able to go this year, wife found out yesterday she has to work that weekend so unless that falls through I'll be looking after our young lad. :(

Not sure if I will make it this year or not but I wouldn't be needing accomidation anyway so can you put me down as a maybe? When would you need to know for sure?

Just home as I stayed with my brother in Dublin last night, had a great time in Birmingham, big thanks to GM for organising the event as I think everyone really enjoyed it. I managed to come second in the 13 and above category and Bill won the low handicap category so I think we did the...
Unfortunately we won't be over until late on Wednesday, due to land at the airport about half 9 or so but will definitely see you in the bar at some stage Wednesday night. Looking forward to it, hoping the weather is decent
I read a review of the course (http://www.goingforgolf.com/courses_and_resorts/listing/forest_of_arden/) & it says depending on the wind the tee shot on the last "can be anything from a five-iron to a three-wood", I think I can safely predict I will be hitting driver no matter which way the wind...
Just wondering who here is heading to the Forest Of Arden next week? I know myself, bladeplayer & homer but any other regulars?
Also anywhere online where we can see the course layout, I checked out their website but there are only a few photos
Not been out too much lately between work and the weather but going to make a big effort this week to get a few 9 holes in. Can't wait to see what the course is like, hope we get nice weather so we can enjoy the day even if the golf doesn't go to plan
