Me and a few of my friends have started using TheGrint. Maps look like they come from Apple Maps. We like it as when you start a round on TheGrint you can follow their scorecard on the way round to see how they are getting on. Does all of the stat tracking you would expect.

Interesting you mention the blind par 3. One of the myths around this region is that Hunstanton would be in line to host the open if they sorted the blind hole. Also the roads would have to be better to cope with the traffic in and out of the town.

There’s a little club not far from me called Gedney Hill. It’s generally a really short course with lots of dog legs. Par 3 - 105 yards off the whites Par 5 - 668 yards off the whites It used to claim to be the longest par 5 in the UK but I’m not too sure if this is still true.
