I've had 4 lessons I'm going to book another 4 ..I went round the course with 3 other competent golfers so they where explaining rules apart from my uncle telling me to pull the putter out from 80 yards.I got a fair few old balls in my bag ...I didn't want to hit my irons off the tea but there...

Thanks for the words of wisdom...I went down the range yesterday and hit a few woods and driver at 50% with a decent outcome..I also booked a few lessons with the pro..

I played at widney manor in Solihull I was playing with 20 other lads....I'm down the range later to have 100 balls or so...as for enjoying it I loved it I could of done another 18

Cheers. Shall I just carry on with my 5 for a while and get some practice on the range with my bigger sticks????

I played my first 18 holes yesterday and scored 119 with one bogey and one par ..the biggest club I hit was my 5 iron as it's the longest iron I have ..I did hit the driver twice and lost the ball on both occasions I'm truly terrible with driver,woods and the hybrid ..would I be better off...
