Terribly sad news, Met Ashley at a forum meet at Littlestone before he joined and he was so happy after he got in.
Echo what others have said he was a lovely guy and can't believe this could happen to him.
Rest in peace and hopefully his son will know what a great guy his dad was.
Please send...
Seeing as there are no takers for this I will gracefully bow out, thanks anyway!
Probably just as well, Im having trouble hitting my 440cc driver never mind a small wooden headed one!
You would probably be more consistent using modern more forgiving clubs week in week out. Just looking at your un-smiley face I think if you continue your passion of using antiquated clubs the compromise is you will struggle. Cant you just use the classic clubs in friendlies and modern clubs in...
I think the easiest thing is that those who want to carry on with the new deal do it this year, we can keep a good relationship with the club and hopefully they will honour the original deal next year (I don't see why they wouldn't).
I appreciate that people have booked time off and hotels etc...
It's not as good as the original offer, but still a good deal and understandable in the current circumstances. Poor form letting you know so late with such a large gathering though.
Jealous that I wasn't brave enough to bite the bullet and go.
But very glad the weather paid off for all the efforts of the organisers and those who committed themselves to go. Loving the pictures and write ups. Gives a sense of what the trip was like and one to add to the bucket list.
There is a plethora of good courses in and around Woking. Got to be one of the three Ws with that budget Woking, West Hill or Worplesdon. Quite easily accessible from most places in Woking. Not sure what costs st Georges Hill that's on the North side.
