I live about five minutes on foot from the course made longer by the fact half that distance is going to a bridge to cross the river, 200 yards as the crow flies and only 15 minutes to Dublin city center on foot! Bliss and half! Great course for people living in Dublin.
Why would you say that? The debate was whether the euro tour was in trouble. That is just idiotic in my opinion. If sponsors aren't putting up the money anymore why bring the tour to england where there is no sponsorship money rather than expanding the tour where there is a commercial interest...
Coach 10 year old rugby myself. Agree to DCB commnet about parents thinking their children are great. Left two kids on the sideline of a match last week for the first half and eventhough they played a full half one dad came up and gave out to me for starting the kid who was 'crap' according to...
Once you get the hang of hitting that particular club you should be fine. Whilst on holiday I use blades off 24. Far too difficult for my handicap according to stats yet the last round of the holiday I played I shot 47 points and my best ever gross. My opinion is that you can adapt to be able to...
I use a 60 degree. My PB is well over 150. know how you feel about slow rounds. This year I have played very little and yet on the three or four rounds I have played have been held up! Great way of passing the time. Currently working on tricks to mix it up whilst waiting for the group ahead...
If I had abudget of 100-150 pounds I would use it on something useful rather than an overpriced ste of waterproofs. Cheap and chherful are what I have used for the past three years.
Play with them as a holiday set. 755's. Beautiful clubs to hit when you are striking it well. The only problem is if nyou are a high handicapper like myself they are much less forgiving than the Cleveland CG16's I play with at home.
I don't think its underrated at all! Everyone talks about the bad day on the greens or the day everything dropped!
Everyone i know spends more time on the putting green than the range!
As a great man once said
" Drive for show, putt for dough"
I've played with them for three years. Beautiful clubs. When i hit them out of the center they are amazing with a great feel. If you can build up some confidence with them they are fantastic. On bad days thou they are a nightmare with anything less than perfect scurrying about 60 yards along the...
If it was only offered to amateurs then i think it should be in the olympics. Pro golfers have majors and world golf championships ahead of the Olympics in the season and it would not be a big enough tournament in the pro's minds to warrant an extra week in the middle of august where players are...
great scores! when i got my new driver i had to wait five or six rounds before i could get one anywhere near the fairway! Hope i have your experience soon as am thinking of changing my driver!:whoo:
At my course, a links, the rough is impossibly thick even a few feet off the fairway. It has thin fairways and only one cut of rough before the maram covered dunes:(
Courses around mine are of the same quality if a little bit worse in areas like the greens. I think it's your own course that feels better because you know it and play it frequently.
