Dundonald booked for half 1. Can't wait. Hopefully the weather be on our side and the drive up uneventful.

Cheers for all the input guys. Looking at available tee times it looks like the only one that is a goer is Dundonald. 1330 tee time should (hopefully) see us finish 6pm latest. Into the city for 7pm. Hit the town for 9pm.

I have looked at route and indeed a good 6hrs.to Ayr. We play to leave at 6am and tee off around 1330/1400. Silloth does mate sense as not as much of a detour but we wanted to sample links golf in Scotland.

Lovely driving position and view from my Range Rover and you are right. No intention of going off road especially with low profile 22" tyres. And again bang on with the mpg...22 to the gallon. But very comfortable all the same.

Lease a brand new car for 2 years @ £135 a month (Mrs corsa) or spend 3.5k on a second hand car. After 2 years what is your second hand car worth and how much have you sent on it when it goings wrong? No brainer IMO

Volvo are doing good deals at the mo with a 1 month up-front payment. 259 a month for 4 years including all maintenance is a cracker. Limited to 8k a year though.

I lease through them also and cannot complain. A good company IMO and would highly recommend.

I was there in 2005 when it just opened. Was excellent then so hopefully has not gone downhill.

Not free either day I am afraid. Abbotsley is a beautiful course but a tad expensive at weekends. For good value I would recommend Wyboston Lakes. Both are around 10 minutes away.

I have a PG2 3h and it's a brill club and picked up the Seve Icon irons for 70 quid brand new from Dunluce. Also have MD putter. Great underestimated clubs IMO. Dunluce always have a lot of MD stuff for great prices.

I went from sky to Bt tv and back to sky. More hd channels with sky and better reception as it's dish based as opposed to aerial and internet based with Bt.
