Last one for today, I promise! No surprise it's a mid 2000s progressive trance cracker. 2004's Ryan G- Emoticon. Used to play this a lot when I was hosting a trance night at a local club 2005-2007.

And it's slightly darker but still unmistakably EuroTrance flip side, Uridium

One for the more upbeat harder EuroTrance lovers. This time a 2005 cracker from JS10 - Sensation. A very under the radar release that I picked up in a "bargain £1 bin" in Fopp Records Edinburgh. Wayyy better than a £1 disc in my opinion.

More Mid 2000s trance that p!sses all over the stuff being produced today. 2003's CERN - The Message bridging the gap between club trance, chillout trance and epic trance very nicely. The drop after the break still hits hard today.

King of the Epic genre, Andy Blueman with an astounding breakdown aidied in no small part by Eller van Buuren (yep, Armin's brother) on guitar. Sublime.

I always tar those two equally.

I think this is confusing passion with abject stupidity, indoctrinated hatred and unharnessed sectarianism.

Another from my trip down aural memory lane...

20 years old and STILL one of the most melodic, striking and ethereal breakdowns ever. 2005-2007 was truly the peak of the "epic trance" genre and Kamil Polner was at the head along with Any Blueman and Night Sky.

I think we're talking about slightly different type of "young team". I'm referencing what we would once call casuals. Or at least, this lot think they are.

Yes. Maybe drive the idiots away. Wishful thinking I know but there's too many of the "young team" that need to understand actions have consequences. A bit like the two that tried it on with me and my mate at the taxi rank on Saturday night.

There’s idiots that support every team. It’s volume relative to the size of the supporter base seemingly.

No, they had the decency to wait until the pubs afterwards…
