I've heard a lot about muscle memory in golf and other sports and body part positions etc being replicated when making an action and a lot of golf teachers use these words when citing drills etc.
My understanding is the brain controls muscles etc and if you were to cut off a direct function...
Hi John87
Apologies as I seemed to have misread your initial post. Sound thinking though getting them as first set.
A similar club you might think about in the 8 iron is the maxfli evolution as it looks very similar and may feel/ play similar. E-bay has some.
Good luck with the golf and hope...
Hi John87
What is it you need to know and have you hit them yet?
Sorry to be short in answering but what is your intention and why did you buy them?
Cheers Fade
Hi GaryK
Firstly I would suggest chilling out a bit. Whatever the comment you'll get them at whatever level you'll play at.
Secondly think about what your complaining about, it would seem a you take offence to a "supposedly better" player than you scorning you game and in your post you...
Apolgies for getting this one going again but a search on the GM Forum on P770's only threw up this thread.
So question is how is anyone if at all getting on with them?

If its any help I had a pair of Cross "Bunker" pants a while back and they were one of the best pair of waterproof trousers I have ever had. Zippered, sturdy popper fastening, decent and enough belt loops around the top, very wind proof, adjsutable and zippered ankles.

Evening all
Just been thinking about all the courses I've played over the years and for some unkown reason thought about cockle shell paths. I remember waliking on these years ago and still today although most are now grit for one reason or another
Does anyone know why they are part of golf...
Love the flat out thing with golfers. Why give it all you've got and push it when this tends to bring in all the mistakes? Hit the ball within your ability.
Distance is knowledge, accuarcy is crucial, playing within yourself is skill.
Good distances but how many fairways are you hitting from your drives, greens in regulation from second shots, putts are you taking and how is your course management?
Don't worry about what everyone else is doing. Have some lessons and get a lesson plan with your pro. It will pay dividends.
