I'm 51, 1 partnered up daughter + granddaughter living the other side of town, son 19 still at home with desire to join the forces.
Yes, Aylesbury is one of the cheapest areas in Bucks (I would imagine Wycombe probably on a par).
What frustrates me is all of the housing developments going on...
Aylesbury truly is a soulless s_hole, I really struggle to think of anything positive to say about the place.
Shame as it used to be a lovely market town...maybe 30-40 years ago - before massive over development and almost zero investment in infrastructure.
Me and Mrs K are starting to look at...
I forgot to mention that wheat bags are not suitable for our microwave (something to do with it not having a turntable?).

Do any of the forum members have any experience with heated shoulder pads?
I bought this from Menkind the other day and having tried it out tonight, it will be going straight back for a refund.
The "heat" is a mere "warmth" measuring around 30C (used a meat thermometer) and the "massage"...

Staying in Hawkhurst in a couple of weeks and looking for suggestions....
High HC (28'ish) friendly
18 holes
Buggy (the Mrs will drive, she doesn't play)
Reasonable green fees (up to £50 mid-week)
Up to 30 mins drive from Hawkhurst
Wield of Kent looks reasonable - anyone played there?
Cheers
Not sure what the plan is for next year given that the winning country hosts the competition.
Thoroughly enjoyed it tonight - actually feel bad for Germany who got 0 from the jury votes, quite liked the song.
Speaking from recent personal experience, mental illness (depression, anxiety, etc) is very real and can easily turn a logical person into the complete opposite to the point where living just doesn't seem "worth it" or manageable.
The real problem is that whilst there are services out there to...
People complaining about "grammar police"....
It can be difficult to resist the urge when you have ASD - seeing bad grammar or spelling really bothers me at times.
I do try to resist the temptation to correct bad grammar, but it can cause mental anguish.
