Although the ball doesn't go as far at this time of the year, I wonder if lots of us get good scores because the ball sticks wherever we hit it? What do others think?

I'm starting the year at 1.2 and am aiming to get to 0.6 (got it to 0.8 mid season last year) so I can enter the Scottish Amateur Championship. Just to say I've played in it would be amazing!
