We'd like to take this opportunity to wish you a Happy Holidays and a very Merry Christmas from all at Golf Monthly. Thank you for sharing your 2025 with us!
Hmmmm i'd have liked to have seen the picture of the golf swing that put you in the rough, I wonder if that looked as "at ease"????
Excuse me for saying....A bit self indulgent isn't it???
Brilliant thread.....i'm cleaning tea off the pc screen!!!
I'm thinking you may be exagerating about the distance the woman behind was with the hybrid....there are no women at our club that could hit one that far!!!!....i mean 70yds!!!!
I'd have gone forward to the slow guy and told him that...
Don't do 'refurb' balls as the finish is usually rubbish!
Of the ones i've picked up they look like they've been sprayed with car paint then varnished with a brush!....awful!
We have the same situation at ours.
All they would need to do in the mornings on weekends is limit the menu, sausage or bacon sanwiches, tea or coffee.
No need for anything fancy!!!
I feel your pain Homer.....i'm a practice nut like you and i was in exactly the same situation last year.
I sat down and had a long chat with my teaching pro who assured me all had gone well with swing changes and lessons through the winter and that i should clear my mind and trust what i've...
Intead of spending bundles having your driver re-shafted with a shaft they've cut down before fitting to your clubhead......why not get them to take the grip off, shorten the one you already have in it and re-grip it??? :D
You gotta love a 2 iron....perfect for positional play off the tee or sending that low raking bullet into the apron of the green and watching it chase up on!!!!
Still too soft under foot at our place to justify it going in the bag and the hybrid getting the hook....probably another month or so. :D
It's so easy to do, i always re-grip all mine before the season starts....did em about 3 weeks ago.
As well as youtube you can also go on the Mizzy site, go to workshop and watch 'Turbo' fitting a new one in the tour van....he can do it in about 40 seconds per grip!!!
