They are very similar. To be honest if i had gone full 699 Pro i would not have been disappointed.

Lucky to have played/stayed and Gleneagles a few times and Kings course is superb, quirky but brilliant. Queens a little easier but still magnificent. PGA good but a slog. Even the par three course is good fun and worth a play.

Two courses is a big plus. The practice facilities at WGC are not the best. Also not completely happy with the bunker changes (removals) over the last couple of years. The upgraded bunkers are good but too many bunkers being removed.

At Welwyn Garden City at the moment. I like the courses at Essendon but don’t know any other members there so would need to join swindles and i ‘normally’ play Sat mornings..

It was more an experiment on trying to keep it in play on short par fours and on longish par threes. I would say off a tee I was getting between 190-200 yards (depending on the strike)
