If it has Slazenger on the shaft and nothing on the head it may be from the Canadian market some pictures including the grip the decal and the back of the head will make it easier for anyone to value it.

Often the 3 wood is barely used by players who like their driver so 4 woods have become increasingly popular to bridge the gap you described. It’s a bit more versatile than a 3. I have a Callaway xr16 one and I use it far more than my 3 wood was ever used.
We played it off the middle tees I forget what colour they were we had a good mix of ability in our group and that was the right decision as the back tees would have been tough for a few of the group.
