    Gleneagles Kings or Queens?

I like both but the Queens is more fun and is a very fair course. There is not a bad choice up there. Best Hotel ever stayed in as well.

    Golf Equipment Lease deals.

The difficulty in this concept is customisation. If you are an avid enough golfer to contemplate leasing clubs then you will desire them to be your spec. The business model for the returned clubs offset against the income is a tricky playing field. A major brand could have a go at it...

    Shorter driver shaft?

When I used to do alot of fitting (a while ago now) I would often put a shorter shaft into a driver without telling the golfer. As there numbers improved on the trackman they would get excited but almost without fail would not accept it as a fitting as they didn’t want a shorter shaft. The old...

    Ping kushin Slazenger scottsdale

It is rare in regards that there is a limited amount of them around but not terribly valuable. Probably around 100 quid The original grip and decal being in good order will add a little value.

Has a new Putter made a big difference?

Had a massive improvement last year after finally buying a putter that was correct style centre shafted non offset cobra agera. I had been told that was what I needed but being stubborn had stuck with my Scotty and spider previously. Putts holed within 10 feet increased noticeably.

    Hoarding/Flipping golf clubs

I used to be a hoarder but now only have my set that I use and 6 putters if I get a new one then one has to go. As it’s easy to start collecting putters. Used to love collecting ping ones.

    Fitting frustrations. Anyone had similar?

A good reason to be fit by a PGA professional as when our swing is way off it can be difficult to accurately fit a club. A good fitter will be able to settle that before making any decisions on specs. Reminds me of a fitting a friend had with one of the worlds most experienced fitters He was...

    Ping Putter.. 1960s

If it has Slazenger on the shaft and nothing on the head it may be from the Canadian market some pictures including the grip the decal and the back of the head will make it easier for anyone to value it. Not many ping putters are worth a lot even Nicklaus Slazenger ones are very condition...

5 wood easier to hit than 3 wood?

Often the 3 wood is barely used by players who like their driver so 4 woods have become increasingly popular to bridge the gap you described. It’s a bit more versatile than a 3. I have a Callaway xr16 one and I use it far more than my 3 wood was ever used.

@those who have played the JCB

We played it off the middle tees I forget what colour they were we had a good mix of ability in our group and that was the right decision as the back tees would have been tough for a few of the group. Its a great day out you will love it.
