In case it might help anyone else, I made a simple cradle for my phone using a cheap case and one of the rubber vice adapters that you use to clamp your clubs. Works really well with the app and I find the app really good.
Thanks everyone
I had a good look at everything last night and took all the comments on board. In the end I managed to pick up a Motocaddy M1 from their preowned shop. It seems to be quite well regarded and it didn't break the bank either o_O.
Thanks again
Thanks Robster
I've gone onto all of the websites and noted down the dimensions when folded, etc - but I thought it really important to hear comments like you made re: new shape Go Kart and the potential fragility of some of the smaller units.
Thanks for taking the time to respond - appreciated
Hi all
I've had a search of the forum and found some good advice on trolleys, but I just wanted to ask a specific question, particularly for those that actually use electric trolleys
I'm looking to get a compact trolley for my daughter to use this season. It needs to be have a fairly small...
Just as an update, I’ve had an email from Sounder golf today saying that their 3 piece urethane balls are currently on buy one get one free, so £32 for 2 dozen.
Seems like a good deal and the balls get favourable reviews

In the end I managed to pick up some Practice Pro V1's from Hotgolf for just over £20/dozen. They've arrived today and look in reasonable shape (ie not lake balls, but balls used at Tour events)
We do this already and give any of the balls that we find back to the junior section. It's a great chance for us to have a bit of a natter together whilst trying to do something good for the kids at the club (unfortunately all we seem to find are Slazaengers or Soft feels :D)
Thanks - she uses Seed balls at the minute but they don't have any of her favourite "flavour" in stock at the minute so was just looking for an alternative. Will drop Seed an email and see when they're expecting a new delivery.
Cheers
Just wondering if anyone has seen any good deals on balls? I'm looking to stock up for the kids and am looking for a good urethane ball for them? I know that Kirklands are in stock again but wondered if there's any srixon, TM, etc dels about?
Cheers
Jamgolf are good - used them a few times, good prices and good delivery
Snainton - as everyone says, really good service & prices.
Hotgolf - again, very good
It does seem a strange way to do things - having a ballot. My kids are super keen to attend an Open Championship - I was lucky enough to go to St Andrews in 1995 when John Daly won - so I entered the ballot on the first day that it opened and applied for tickets for the Thursday or Friday. I've...
My daughter has just got some Lynx AI clubs. Very nice they are to, although she's 11 and a little younger than your son. She's had US Kids clubs in the past as well as MKids clubs - all have been good and much better than the telegraph pole hand me downs I had when I started out!
Just a bit of feedback for those that are interested
Used the device this week in the practice round on Tuesday and in the comp yesterday and it was excellent. Really easy to use and the hole view is brilliant for seeing hidden bunkers, etc.
One of the other competitors had a garmin device and...
Just by way of a quick update - the Skycaddie has been delivered this morning and included in the pack is also a prepaid membership card which was a bit of a bonus!
Just charged it up and had a quick demo go with it - it looks ideal for what we need & will help the daughter navigate her way...
