The Kendleshire, Bristol - Hole 11, 130 yards off yellow... 165-180 yards whites but into wind plays a lot longer, I've hit from 8 iron to 3 Hybrid.

My club has asked people to keep paying membership with no mention of a refund for time lost and won't commit to anything in writing. This is a privately owned club with a multi-millionaire owner. I'll be keeping my money... in my pocket, thank you.

Whats to stop three retired people going up everyday one with this membership and two standard... then spreading the drinks and food between the three of them. This type of membership could get messy and political.

I think he's been made a scapegoat here... they wouldn't of applied the penalty if it was Rose, Mcilroy etc. They've just wanted to make a statement and he's an easy target.

American golf are good because you can try most of the different manufactures equipment. Once you like the looks of a driver and hit it good, i would then go to your local golf pro for another fitting and to purchase.

I'm pretty sure that a few guys on the senior circuit didn't compete on any other tour in their younger days.

Totally agree with this, but... Competition rounds are mostly slow going with all the TV pros on the course... so sometimes ready golf isn't needed.
