Vice golf balls - experience to date

I have the Pro-Plus balls and can't tell the difference form Pro V1x, Top balls Good in the wind and great control round the greens. they drive incredibly well and the covers hold up well even on full wedge shots but still get loads of spin when you want. I will be buying more for next year.

    ProV 1 Balls

I have switched this year to the Cally chrome soft I can't see past these. excellent flight with driver right through the irons and enough spin to back up with a 9irn. I am keen to try these vice balls I have been hearing about on here and the snell' if they get a uk distributer.

Improved Fitness and Improved Golf Performance

I am the same as you I play much better when I'm using the gym regularly, I think it is to do with a stronger core and all round better conditioning. I just seem to be more stable though my swing. and dare I say it I feel less tired at the end of the round.

    Becoming a caddy

Not sure exactly but I'm sure I have heard of caddie schools in the US. Also you could look for an up market course near yourself and enquire if they employ caddies. Plus again I'm not 100% but I'm sure most pro caddies ie the ones on tour, are all very low handicap golfers in their own right...

    practice pays off

Evening peep's. So today I played in my third north east winter alliance. as you can see my handicap is 20 inactive (alliance max is 18) but since the start of the summer I have spent all my time on the range and my local 9 hole( due partly to my 18 hole course going belly up) just trying to...

    A wee gem.

Hi guys just wanted to share a course with you all that may not be on the radar of most in the north east of scotland, I played Auchmill last wednesday in the northeast winter alliance and it has to be said the course was in fantastic shape. It is probably not a course that people would even...

    possible blatant lies!!!

As I was reading GM this month I happened appon the advert for TM SLDR so I read the advert and it states that the new driver gives you more distance and you will need a higher loft "like dustin johnson, he went from an 8.5 to a 10.5. This sounded a bit strange as I have seen a few of DJ's WITB...

Your 6 Iron swing speed & the shaft you play....

131.8 132.4 134.8 The ball speed seemed a little down but was using a different driver which I'm not too keen on, did crunch a fair few but one or two were not that great. Are these club head speeds or ball speeds???

Your 6 Iron swing speed & the shaft you play....

For me the distances are pretty spot on of course there are the miss hits and shanks, but I generaly strike the ball pretty well buti tend to blow up on the course played at auchmill yesterday and hit the 175 par 3 with 7 and the 188 par three with my 6. It is different hitting on a computer but...
