I use it on short putts (probably inside 5 feet). Its working well so far, takes all the focus off the swing and onto the target. I find my aim and speed of putts is greatly improved.
I look at it a bit bowling / snooker etc. In these sports you don't look at the ball in your hand or the cue...
Lesson #1 on GameGolf usage: add checking your GameGolf battery into your night-before-a-round routine.
Turned up on the first tee at the PGA Centenary to find my GG totally dead. :(
Finally got myself a GG after 4 months of contemplating it. Playing at Gleneagles on Monday so thought I would take the plunge and map my round for posterity.
Should make for some interesting post-round analysis.
Thanks TLB, I'll give these a google.
How hilly is Silverdale? Just thinking of the Father-in-law's dodgy knee. Don't want to listen to him moaning all weekend.:D
I'm off to the South Lakes, Silverdale to be exact in October for a extended family weekend.
I have been tasked with organising a round of golf for the alpha-males, but have never played in this area
Do any of you guys have experience of playing in this area? Any recommendations for courses...
We had it up until about 8 months ago. Its now been replaced with BTSport, which while good (Value for money) does not have the sporting coverage to attract people into the bar; its watched because its on.
Shame with Sky's monopoly of golf.
I see on the GM FB feed that the Belfry are doing free Custom Fitting throughout May. As I am going to be in the area at the weekend and in the market for a new set of irons I think the moons be aligned nicely for a wee visit.
However, there are no details as to whether this "free" offer is...
Played the Kendleshire a number of years ago, lovely setup and I think it has a combination of 18s that you can play ( from memory). As Homer said Gary Smith is based there and they have a very good short game area.
Course wise - I hope you can swim :D
