I use a Line 6 Pod X3 connected to my MAC via USB through Garage Band which works extremely well and produces a nice clean sound. You can pick up a Pod X2 on eBay relatively cheaply plus you get an effects box.

Same here, cancelled at the start of the year and was bombarded with offers to stay .......... If they can offer me 12 months for free why couldn't they reduce the monthly fee. Sky is overpriced and overrated I'm glad to see the back of it .....

Only tried them with a wedge and when I thinned one I felt it and the flight was low and fast just like the real thing. Going to try it with a six iron next as I wanted to see how they reacted first.

The airflow balls are alright for the back garden but I've just got some Birdieballs http://www.birdieball.co.uk/. As described in the promotional info, if you don't hit them correctly you can feel it more than with airflow balls. They do look a bit odd but safer than hitting real golf balls...

Thanks, they never explain in detail on the commentary just that the group is 'on the clock'.

When a group is put 'on the clock' each player has 40 seconds (60 seconds in specific circumstances) but when does that time start? Is it when the reach the ball, when they address the ball or when it's their turn to play?

Only got the tee's no marker ........ where the markers put in at random ....???
