That's not too bad if it has some type of warranty I'd maybe consider that depending on the trolley price, you can get an M5 GPS for around £4-500 and there's the new one on eBay right now starting at £560 but at that price I'd look out for the m-tech
Mate the handle is as much as the battery, unless it's around £150 I'd hold off, you do get used handles coming up on eBay but are rare and loads of competition, fitting is easy to do call pro shops that sell motocaddy you might get it a bit cheaper and fitted
You can buy a whole new handle with GPS from eBay it's simple to fit, I ended up getting the screen replaced through a pro shop for £100 fitted was the new style screen but I wish I bought the GPS handle and fitted myself was only £130,
I predominantly use my watch (Garmin s70) and it's very accurate but not as accurate as the Lazer which I more use in the winter for the winter greens that my watch doesn't pick up, my main problem with the Lazer is shaking hands as it can take me a few seconds to lock on
Thats weird I always use golf now and then call them to see if they do the same price and book that way, the troon courses are normally busy I know a few who drive from Glasgow for their winter golf and always moan about tee times, seafield at £14 is a bargain and hopefully not to wet underfoot...
The other 2 are very good I like the darley personally but all three are good value, I'd say sea field and belleisle would still be too wet plugging balls and plenty of mud awaits 😂 you'll want to try get a booking asap as they are quite busy this time of year
The troon municipal courses are a good shout no mats, full greens and always in good condition, after the amount of rain we've had they would be my first and only choice for Friday, unfortunately I won't be able to make it another time hopefully,
Enjoy mate
Really enjoyed the day course was a bit wet underfoot but held up brilliant decent golf on show too and good company, looking forward to our next round
