I use Golfshot (free version) and have done for several months, seems ok but the free version is quite basic so might look again. The free version only supplies yardages to middle of green, not front and rear, and you cannot get distances to hazards etc.. This didn't use to bother me too much...

Hi, now budget as such but was thinking around £25 per round, we will look to play around lunchtime/early afternoon. Happy to pay a bit more for good courses.

Good shout, have thought about keeping one in the boot of the car to clean shoes afterwards but why not have it in the bag. Cheers..

I know there will be an urge to comment about taking a towel and maybe even wetting it at the course just before heading out but I just wondered if anyone has any other good ideas/equipment that helps to keep club heads in pristine condition whilst out on a round?

Great, hassle free service. I recently had the same with Glencor Golf with a trip to Algarve, again they acted in the same way and I was extremely grateful for the help and service provided. I will certainly recommend them and will be booking with them again in future..

hahaha sounds like i might have my hands full then, don't want to be bailing anyone out to make sure we get to the course on time.. Good to hear the positive feedback on vilamoura though, do you know who arranges the trips and what companies they use?

Never even thought of Cyprus or Belgium, some food for thought.. Would you recommend booking through a dedicated company or booking everything separate?
