I joined Ravenspark I know a lot of the members the 2 clubs are only a couple of hundred yards apart it is the local municipal course. Cheers Alan I had to move for my own sanity.Very dissapointed that I had to be out by the 31st Dec having paid fees till the end of March.
I left Bogside because over the last few years I have not been getting value for money. I am an outspoken type of guy always have been but I like to think there was always reason and logic behind any suggestion I made. Sometimes you get it wrong but over the years I think there have been more...
I was a member of my old golf club for 30 years but I have now resigned and moved to another club. The last few years my golf has been poor my handicap has been going up & up so I need to get back to enjoying my golf again.
I played Muirfield a few years ago with the same deal it was £240. To be honest I was a bit dissapointed with the course 4 par 3 holes were very much the same BUT for £240 to play an Open course was very good. We stayed for lunch the welcome we got from the staff was 1st class.
If I think there is any doubt about finding my ball I will play a provisional if I have a score going. I would NEVER walk back to the tee personally I think that the 5 min. rule should be changed to 2 mins. or 5 mins. from when you play the shot. This would maybe stop the 4hr plus rounds.
You sound like the kind of guy I would be down waiting for the doors to open so that I could vote.If there is any doubt what ever you cannot give the death penalty BUT Britains prisons are full of people I would do them for nothing.
I have had a problem fromNew Year checkout u-tube David Leadbetter it is working for me BUT I still hit the odd one. Every day you go out and don't hit one it is a bonus. I hope this helps.
Carnoustie I have played it once and I thought it was a great course. I am a James Braid fan he did not build bad courses. My course(Irvine,Bogside) is a Braid Course not the longest in the World but if there is a bit of wind its long enough.
CARNOUSTIE I have played it only once but what a fantastic course. I have played all the Open courses in Scotland and for me Carnoustie just beats Turnberry.
