Yep arbitrary, it was an agreed number of shots based on the average differences at various courses...............it won't change I just need to know at which point to add them. she plays from the men's daily (yellow) tees with us, they havent been measured for women.

Good Afternoon We have a lady that plays golf with us in our Society and she plays off the men's tees woth us and receives 6 courtesy shots. It was easy to calculate before the new handicap system just add them to her handicap, so she plays off 10 and therefore plays off 16 from our tees...
