Speak to your nearest Titleist stockist he can advise you on lofts and bounce on your new vokey wedge (it is the only one to have) approx £70 but worth the extra trust me. I played with mizuno for years but it is nowhere near the titleist. As for nike to wouldn't use one of them if I was paid...
Totally agree mate, You've hit the nail on the head. I know a few players off very low handycap that are great in a straight line but give them something that they would never practise at the range and they are flumoxed. Sometimes you just have to think outside the box.
I've heard it all now poulter's new irons are going to keep him on tigers tail. I'm sorry but despite the fact I am a fan of Ian's the only way he's going to catch the tiger is if he brings a gun with him. Sorry mate but Tiger unfortunatly is a long, long, way out from the likes of Ian Poulter...
Personaly I love playing in bad weather. No i'm not mad, I find playing a different style of golf very rewarding what could feel better than punching a nice low 6 iron into a par 3 that normally is hit with an 8 iron because your into a strong wind, or using an extra couple of clubs with a...
It's really refreshing hearing honest comments on this forum. I was just thinking about all these people on here talking about increased feel and levels of spin and i'm thinking how many of these golfers land their ball on the front of the green watch it spin back 2 feet down the bank into the...
Ah yes the great carry debate!......depends on how the ball is struck does'nt it. A really good player will hit a drive with a degree of top spin draw. Extra 50 Yrds anyone? Now that's what i call getting a good bounce!
You think your in love do you, let me tell you about love i've just purchased a ping redwood piper s custom fit! this is without doubt the best golf club i have ever owned (25 yrs) Played the first round with it saturday in the medal came in 5 under handycap  putting from all over the...
I'm just guessing here but i'm thinking your new to the game if that's correct then definatly king cobra it's without doubt the easiest club to use, lets suppose i'm wrong and you've been playing for a couple of years and your average drive is about oh i don't know 200 yrds and your handycap...
This is spooky me and my friends have just returned from driving range after comparing clubs. Drivers on offer callaways, cobras, and Ping G10, the Ping lovely club but suits low handycappers, this was the general feeling amongst several different players of abilities between [****] hot and...
Unfortunatly had my set of custom fitted mizuno blades (deleted at time of theft so irreplaceable) and callaway woods unusual spec ( i.e irreplaceable) stolen from my house during a burglary several years ago insurance paid out no problem at all, though i suspect it depends on which ins co your...
Hi John,
Read your post on golf lessons which i totally agreed with then noticed your link at bottom to youtube, the video of you playing craigelaw reminded me of the visit i made there last year whilst working at the senior masters muirfield.
Well only had 1 day free for golf so my mate and...
