GOLF TRIP
Hi all, not been on for a long time, but as we have had the scottish open and open, i felt compelled to write a review of two of the courses me and the guys played 19-23 june.
Castle Stuart- We played here on two different days and with two different types of weather, day 1 was fair...
well, santa was good to me this yr! new galvin green waterproofs, a dozen prov1x's couple of galvin green tops.....happy days if only i could get out on the fairways ,eh!
How about you guys, what the jolly fellow bring?
me and the guys based ourselves in aviemore this year for our golf break, we played the speyside, boat of garten and pitlochry on the way home. Heres some of the pics.

i have just changed my driver, and was fitted by a pga pro who had many models/makes for me to try before i bought.
the main concern was getting the backspin down as low as possible.this was achieved with an taylor made r9 supertri, with the standard alvida stiff shaft.
now, i find it incredible...
homer has pointed you in the right direction.....
when practise putting, place a circle of tee pegs around the hole, all within around 2-3 ft(dustbin lid), award yourself points for getting your ball into the circle, and try and always beat your last score.
if its just a the pace you struggle...
new driver great! it isnt a superquad,lol....its a supertri! but was hitting it well in the foursomes tie i played today(pity about the rest of my game though),even though we got beat! :(
m8, try clearing your hips, as you may be getting stuck from the top of your swing. swingthought- at top of backswing, try and get your left bum cheek going behind you(out of the way).
This allows you to bring the club back to square.
Also you may be pulling the club inside, more width required...
