Totally agree. Bought a pair of Saloman for general walking, and they're bloody lethal. Fine in the dry but walk on wet surfaces and they're like slick tyres on a wet racetrack. Had a few close calls with slipping and came a cropper on some wet steps whilst out on a walk with the dog a few...
Remember the pre Christmas exodus from the big city? They brought it with 'em!
Also heard they were planning on bringing London and southern covid cases up to Yorkshire as the hospitals were filling up down there. Don't know if that happened though.
Try telling that to the knobheads marching round London and in tier 4 and partying like it's 1999! While us northern monkeys were holed up in tier 3.
We've behaved but many haven't. Now we're all paying the price!
Skechers Go Golf.
Waterproof, light and very, very comfy. Like playing in slippers!
I look after them though and clean them after every round then give them the old dubbin treatment, especially round the welts.
Had mine around 18 months now and played on a very wet course yesterday. Dry feet and...
1st round yesterday, club winter comp.
Not played for some time due to lockdown in our disease riddled county.
Rocked up to the club on a very cold morning for an 08:30 tee off. It wer chuffin freezing.
Quick swing in the nets and a few putts on the putting green then wandered round to the 1st...
Played 3 rounds with mine and I love it.
The latest firmware is a Godsend. A quick swing of the selected club and it displays it on the screen. This confirms it has detected the club.
The only issue I have with it is sometimes forgetting pin collect until I'm off the green! Plays havoc with the...
Seen some good deals for the Game Golf unit. I personally don't see tagging the club to be too much of an issue. Guess you could include it as part of your PSR. Transponder doesn't appear to be too bulky and can be worn on the belt. Ooh, decisions!
I'll take a look in the Pro shop tomorrow...
Looking at the Shotscope V2 as I'm a bit of an analytics anorak.
I've read mixed reviews but overall the vibe is positive.
The only flaw I can see in the kit is the bulkiness of the watch. Being the owner of relatively thin wrists I'm conscious that the watch would look bloody daft on my arm...
Wow. Some sensitive people on here these days. Guess that’s how we’ve progressed.
Anyhow, Merry Christmas to all, unless we now have to call it Happy Holidays to prevent offending people......... see what I mean?
A relatively new phrase In the English language.
Assuming you’re not one of the new age of ultra politically correct types, what particular snowflakeness really gets your goat?
One of the main issues I have is with all this Uber health & safety boll0ck$ (I make no apologies.) Kids not allowed...
Bitterly cold today in The Hudd.
Limited field turned out for winter league this morning. I blobbed, preferring to turn over and have a lie in.
Started raining in the afternoon which immediately turned to ice. Gritters been out on the roads but the pavements are treacherous.
Even the dogs not...
