Are the shafts the same weight? When I bought my 7 wood last year I purposely put in a really light-weight shaft and had a tendency to draw that club too far.......
I haven't carried a 3 wood in years, just had too many issues with getting in up in the air. Went driver straight to 5w....not enough distance difference to care about and a LOT more consistent strikes. Going 16 to 15 shouldn't make enough difference to really care about....and at this time of...
That is kind of what I was after in earlier posts. If a club puts on a minor bar fee (£50-75 whatever).....I don't mind doing that since I will spend it. The clubs that are putting on £200+ seems a bit mad to me. But....other than guesses from people, WHY is it so necessary to do so? The answer...
So.......a "good" reason to have a levy is.....?? I could have missed something in earlier posts....maybe a levy could help establish a new bar crew....?
You are very defensive on the "levy". Now.....I have no real negative attitude about a levy if there is a GOOD reason to have one. I just don't understand what that "good" reason is.....you haven't explained why there is a standard GOOD reason to have one. A "good" restaurant/bar gets plenty of...
So....why put a bar levy on? You are waffling. WHY put a levy on? Serious question. I think that a bar/kitchen that is good will get plenty of business......one that is crap won't. What does a levy do that good business won't?
2 clubs no....the return to the original club, maybe. Why is that a point on whether it is forced? A small levy I can live with since I will easily use it.....but as has been said before WHY do you need to do this? Just let normal business happen. If the kitchen/bar is GOOD, they will make...
Nah....not likely that bad....but. He said you aren't "forced" when in fact you kind of ARE forced into it. Not technically....yes, you can walk (which I have done)....but putting the screws to people who are at the club to pay a bunch of money that they hadn't in the past....sounds a bit forced...
But....if you have been a member at a club and then SHAZAM.....here is a big bill to pay for something you may not want. Yeah....you are kind of being forced into something. Yep....you can move, but.....
A couple of years ago I was playing at one club and added one up North a bit.....I got a nice little 2nd club discount. People complained....that discount went bye-bye.
Yeah, I figure there are places to go for that.....but I did mention something about a million miles :)
The last couple of years I've had Eleven 8-9-pw which have worked fine. The couple years before that I had Sub70 irons....they were fine. Other brands out there of course, but when I decide...
I have a number of Ping fairway woods, Callaway, Mizuno, etc. I do not plan on buying anymore big name brands unless I have no other choice. Eleven, Sub 70 and a bunch of other choices that are cheaper......where would I get them fitted? I sure wouldn't drive a million miles to do so.
I would hope by now that you realize there are plenty of people who don't play with integrity......Thinking that golfers are "special" and don't do anything wrong is crazy. If there is no way to prevent people from using the bot method of booking tee times....why make the rule? Now....if they...
