I don't believe so. I think we may be talking more about dead weighting a putt rather than the gung ho approach.

The point is the mentality it creates is wrong. "Never up never in" guys will hit too many putts 5 and 6 feet past and miss the ones...

As I say, I tend to agree with most of these points, but by each: Fully agree. For me it's almost a self delusional thing. Why not...
