I think 5yds is the general belief. 10m sounds quite a magnitude of difference, that I'm not sure any manufacturer would agree with.

I don't think the system is the issue here, probably more specific to just you!

When you reach the time of having a stiff back, or aching back, then that bit of extra heat to warm the muscles up is very nice indeed...

Be easier to just put the gilet on by sounds of it
