Seems very strange to purposely have a "rule" that they can not correct an error after a restart. After all their remit is to intervene on clear and obvious errors that the onfield guys have made/missed.

The ring. Hole liners are generally always below the surface, but the only time I've seen a ring it has always been much closer to the surface

...and what happens when they are not installed correctly? (which by the way I've never seen a one of those rings installed 1" below the surface!!) If the green keeper installs them to high? You complain and the course management simply don't do anything and say its the conditions of the course...

i picked up some of the Srixon Divide balls recently. The Blue/Yellow Qstar Tour ones. i like the balls themselves, and but will have a check of some of the other colours, these are hard to pick up straight from the club, good once in the air but hard to see in the first yards as they rise...
