Played Southport and Ainsdale last March, think we paid about 45 quid, that included a voucher for the bar afterwards. Course is VERY tough when the wind is blowing, round our course I usually shoot mid-low 80's and my mate mid 70's, think I shot 101 and he shot 90! :o
Evening,
Sorry I havn't posted on here for a while, to be quite honest I've been a bit busy the last few months. I would like to ask fellow forum members your opinion on scoring on winter greens.
Every wednesday (when I am home) I play with the senior group at my club, stableford, for a couple...
Gents,
After being away for a while I have decided to pop back in to this all knowing realm for........well I'm not sure if it's advice or a pick me up!
As some of you may remember, a few months back everything in the garden of golf was very rosy for me..I had broke 80 a couple of times within...
I suffered the very same problem last month, only it was chronic!
Daft as it sounds, try not playing for a couple of weeks. Granted, I could only do it because I was away working, but when I came back the shanks had gone and I played some pretty good golf :D
Tried it out myself last week. To be quite honest, it didn't seem to go any further than my 9.5* TM Burner TP, the only difference was that the pro set it up with a slightly closed face, which gave me a slight draw, as opposed to my fade that I have now.
In short, a good club, but not sure if...
Combination of the two Bob. My usual shot shape with wedges/irons is a draw anyway, but seem to be setting the wedges off left, then it draws, which makes it worse!
Gents,
Please help! This is costing me maybe 4 or five extra putts per round, because I can be up to an extra 15 feet from the hole, oe worse, in a greenside bunker. I have checked my allignment and it seems ok, I have tried opening up my stance, and that just made it worse!
