So whilst the club haven't commented and apparently there has been no medical Zlatan has confirmed on Twitter/Instagram that he's joining United.

Will be interesting how he does moving into a supposedly tougher league, he certainly isn't going to overawed by the place given his confidence levels. From a United point of view it's no lose, whilst you're paying through the nose in terms of wages there was no transfer fee and you'll be able to make a huge amount in shirt sales on the back of him.

Thoughts?

Will be a good signing imo.
Even at this stage in his career I reckon he'll do well in the Prem, especially working under Jose.

But I do hope he's a massive flop 😬.

Hilarious. Over the hill and with a massive ego. Another progressive signing by United!

Not sure I agree wholly with that. I think he's at least one more good season in him and under Jose will probably get used sparingly. I think he'll be a good short term asset although I concede that in the longer term it's not building the next generation

Superb no risk signing, his knowledge and experience for players like Rashford and Martial is worth a fortune,
According to some on here our English stars are not as good as we think they are, so surely having someone like this around the Club can only be good for them.
Zlatan will take a lot of the focus and pressure off others,

32 goals in the French league last season and won't get into double figures in ours, I reckon 20+ in our league next season.

Has anyone gone straight from the French league and done well in ours I can't think of many.

At least him and Maureen can have who is the biggest knob competitions.

Pires, Anelka, Evra, Cantona, Viera (after 2 games in Milan) and Henry after less than a season in Italy.

So no, can't think of many quality players, 😃 but how any of that proves Zlatan won't get double figures is still beyond me!

It doesn't but you implied 32 goal in league une guaranteed him 20+ epl goals

i think the premier league with prove to physical for the old man.

Let's see what happens

That's 1, not quite at many yet

Have you seen how many players you've signed from French clubs, probably more than anyone, Zlatan or Giroud? I wonder who'll score the most in the PL next season,
Were was Giroud signed from, he's french!

They all take time to adapt, Zlatan is 34 he doesn't have time.
Because he's the finished article, he's played in just about all the top leagues, CL, world cups etc and you think he needs time to adapt
