Zebra dies in golf course lake

In Japan a two year old zebra escaped from a mobile zoo. The authorities spent a few hours chasing it around a golf course.
they shot it with a tranquilliser. It did no more than jump in a lake and its heart stopped/ drowned.

Honest I am not making it up.
