I just read in a post by HJS that he hoped we all play with the maverick and inventiveness of our hero Seve.

If you played today and hit something Seve-eqse do let us know here...

OR

If you did something to remember him by as you played your round today.

I wore all black today, it was quite warm but I was black from head to toe. I miss him already!

Always try and play at least one "seve shot" a round, usually give myself plenty of options lol

today was a bank of trees in front of me at our 6th, 200 yards in, aimed 60 yards left with a big cut, hit it to about 15 ft, the great man wouldve been proud (as long as he didnt stay to watch the awful putt i hit)

Wore black today, marked my ball with 'Seve' and used my 16-degree hybrid to bend the ball around the barn on our 13th and leave myself a pitch onto the green.

My shot was my 3rd on a par 4 from 150 yards, hit driver off the toe into a fairway bunker, got a bad stance and could only nip away a mid iron, caught it off the toe again and it shot right onto a steep upslope.

Ball above my feet and on an upslope 150 yards away, I hit a 5 iron to compensate for the angle up and aimed right to compensate for the ball above feet.
Promtly caught it right out the middle and put it about 15 feet away :D

Missed the putt on the lip and tapped in for a nett par! I think he would have said "that ees a good shot"

putt at the last from one side of the green to the other for a birdie.. then the heavens opened and the thunder storm started and the medal was cancelled

Thought a good bit about him today but no Seve shot.

Generally play a good few daring recovery shots every time I go out, maybe even played one or two he would have been proud of.
But today, straight as an arrow. That never happens!!

I think the maverick side of me died a bit too today.

Sorry, but I'm not worthy to even consider comparing any of my golf shots to the legend of Seve.

Einstein of golf was Mr Ballesteros.

Likewise, I couldn't ever hope to compare any shot I produce to that of the great man.

Like others have said, thought about him a lot as I was hacking round today.

Nothing to compare to the great man himself, but did hit a 181 yard bunker shot to 2 foot and drained the birdie. Hope he would have liked that one....

Will have his name on my golf ball tomorrow.
