My first drink / drunk experience was way back 1962. I was only 15 and on a camping holiday with four pals, at Jeanscroft caravan site about 4 miles from Girvan. We decided to drink black rum and pep , with a bottle of double century ale, because one the guys said his dad drank it, and the order would be easy to say " 5 rum n peps and 5 DCs please.
After about four rounds we were spotted by the bar manager and asked to leave. Eventually we arrived back at the camp site in the dark how we managed not to get run over walking the unlit main road back to our site.
Once in the unlit campsite we tripped over a few guy ropes before finally getting to our own tent by some miracle .
Everyone of us sick as dogs through the night all around and in our tent. Lesson learned, no.
We had to go tattie howkin to earn our train fare home.Image (16).jpg

Went home with a friend while we were meant to be at youth club when I was 14. Took vodka out of the drinks cabinet and decided to have vodka and orange. No fresh orange in the house so used diluting juice, 50/50 vodka to diluted OJ. Friend hated it so I drank his and we went back where we should have been anyway. Had to hide from the leaders and puked my guts soon after.

Very young at a wine festival on a family holiday in Cyprus. I was allowed a small glass of wine but my parents did not realise that you could keep taking the glass back for free samples. After that it was a bottle of whiskey on a school D of E award camping trip.

From the age of 15 I was playing front row for the town rugby club and so beers were pretty regular from then on

Sangria on a family holiday, think I must have been about 14. Couldn't touch the stuff for years after that.
Moved on to Mad Dog 20/20 after that :D

ski trip to austria when i was 14. got smashed on schnapps. i was a mess!

Then when i was 16 i went drinking with the Warwick university rugby team (my big bro played), ended up in a right mess after drinking games etc, couldnt touch beer for a long time after that!

My Grandparents used to give us Sherry or Shandys as kids <10!
My first real smashed memory was at a Hotels leaving do where I used to do the Bottling up. I was 15 ... Sloe Gin Punch, Gin & tonics & Becks! Very ill and put me off gin for about 15 years!
My mum just laughed and said a good lesson learned..

Played golf with the old man at Wimbledon Common. I had to sit outside as I was only 15 and not allowed in the bar. I asked for a lager which he got me and passed through a window. The bar man then said loudly to all and sundry "that bloke just bought that kid a lager". I had t neck it and we made a sharp exit. It was downhill from there!!

Barman was obviously sharper than the guy at Hinckley Cricket Club who served my two sons and some of their team-mates dressed in their Leicestershire County blazers stood alongside a poster advertising the Under 16 game they had just played in.

My own first experience was so long ago (50 years+) that I cannot remember.

Caddied for my uncle at Lurgan Park during an inter club comp. Both teams players and caddies were in great form so the socialising went on into the early hours. I dont remember coming home but woke up with a lot of Holstein pils bottle labels in my pocket. I was only 16 or so at the time but it put me off beer for over 5 years leaving only cider as my legal tipple. Too many rough nights on Scrumpy had me try Guinness and haven't looked back since.

Friend's Dad owned a shop. Would have been about 12/13. We took 8 cans of John Smith's and a 2l bottle of scrumpy jack. 3 of us. I didn't like the JS, my two mates didn't like the cider. I downed 1.5l of the cider in one sitting. Puked 15 mins later, lost 4 hours of my life. Woke up on my sleeping bag outside (we were camping) in mid november. It was raining.

I used to go to Summer Theatre projects as a young teenager. 2 weeks to put together a show effectively.

At the age of 14, nearing the end of the 2 weeks, one of the older teens had a party and BBQ at her house. I turned up with a DVD of American Pie (how naive) and was asked what I wanted to drink. I said a barcadi and coke, as I'd had a barcardi breezer once or twice before.

50% barcardi, 50% coke. Half pint. Knocked it back, felt rough, went to the girls bedroom, laid down for an hour before my mum was called, got home and threw up all over my newly decorated bedroom - curtains, wall, carpet, bedding, the lot.

Needless to say it took a while before I was allowed out the house again.

Had the usual bottle of cider and a few cans on the park etc over the summer when I was 15 but the first "bad" experience was at a girlfriends Christmas party. Remember drinking neat Whisky, Sherry, Clan Dew (?!?!?) and at least one "cocktail" including all the above. I can't remember much after that until the following afternoon apart from my mate throwing up on the record player! (the lid was down luckily!). Needless to say I was no longer seen as boyfriend material by the time I recovered LOL.
