If this has been done before, many apologies;

i would really love mine to be a big booming drive, but it not, never has been, and the way I'm shaping never will be.

However, give me a sand iron 70/80 yards from the pin and I'm in my element. With not being a long hitter I get to practice this a fair bit and have come not to shabby at it. (Hope you 'got' I never said I was good at it, In case of falling flat on my face at hillside next week :thup:)

over to you.......

Didn't I see you lob one in from 70yds at Ormskirk? I'd say not too shabby is an understatement :thup:

Dunno what to pick. I suppose if I had to pick one shot that I'd be confident of hitting well, it would be the driver. Everything else comes and goes but I always seem to be able to drive it reasonably well.

receptive greens. punching in spinny a 56 that bounces twice then stops dead at the pin! looks fantastic. high tariff. only comes off in bounce games and practice.

yeah mate, you caught me on a good day. Funny thing was, I lost it in the sun so only caught it rolling in. Still can't get over 3 birdies in one round! Plus they help not to remember all them duffs....
I also remember your 250+ draws. Must be pretty boring going straight up the middle all the time :)

A good long drive to the middle of the fairway is always pleasing but really any shot that goes where I intend would bring a smile

Same with me mate - caught me on a good day :thup:

The rest of my game wasn't much to write home about but I suppose that keeps it interesting ;)

I enjoy shots with a full 48*. When it comes of I love the high flight and soft landing the crisp sound and the divot taken after the ball. Pure bliss. (usually required after a duffed 9i though)

at least you guys got to have a giggle at me trying to cut one in to 16 and sh**king it way right into the trees. my day of twating it about was complete at that stage.

funny thing was, I was chipping like a demon at the practice range before going out. doubt I made an up and down all bloomin day.

The flushed iron shot (from any distance) that lands within 6 feet of the pin. Superb

Sunny and warm in the middle of summer, middle of the fairway, 150 to the green, 8 iron in hand. Normally pull it left but when I hit a good one it feels great.
