So whos your favourite player? and why?

Mines Rory Mcilroy, Just the way he goes full bore at everyhting, Hunting the sticks all the time not a care in the world. Also his swing is about as perfect as it anyones can be.

A guy called jonny at my club with a wooden leg. You may laugh but everytime I get drawn to play in a group with this guy my ribs ache. The round is so funny it takes the pressure off and my golf is great, I've never played bad golf when this guy is around

Westwood. Brilliant to come back from the depths to #1 albeit briefly and a decent guy too who has given me signed stuff for charity auctions twice. Seems to still have his feet on the ground and he can play a bit too

Glad someone has chosen someone that isnt a pro, There are some many people I play with in the roll up weekdays and some of the things that get said has me in stiches, When the company is great doesnt even matter about the golf.

Mine is also rory, a youngster who i can look up too. Great role model and seems a really cool guy from interviews. On the course perfect etiquette and awesone temprement!
:)

Fav player who's not a pro is my young brother who lost is leg a few years ago watching him golf balls the way he does is superb

Poults!
great to see a guy that has come from being a club pro. very out going guy, makes golf fun, gives his followers a great insight to normality via Twitter and his attitude towards golf, he has lots of self belief and you need that, some may say arrogance, but it is needed to become the best.

He can lose it on occasion and seems to be coming more regular

My favourite pro is probably Luke Donald knows his strengths and uses them a lesson in there for me!

This for "current" golfers.

Also Seve, Tom Watson and Freddie Couples.

Phil for me, I like the way he plays, strong driver, great short game, lots of guts and a few tricks. He seems like a nice guy too.

Luke Donald for me - he just gets on with it and if his swing was for sale on Ebay I'd definitely be after it (hope it's not a Chinese fake)

Did you not see him last night then?
Hit a tee shot he wasn't happy with and threw his club down the tee towards the hole.
I like him by the way.

My favourite to watch at the moment is Bubba Watson, just like the way he plays and his attitude to the game. Bit of a character too going by his videos on Youtube and other pro's comments about him.

Looking forward to the time when Jamie Sadlowski gives up the long driving comps and tries to make a go of it as a pro. Apart from the massive overswing he looks like he has a solid enough swing for a good coach to work with.
Watched a video of him in a long drive contest (on a real hole) with Garrigus, Watson, and Johnson yesterday. The final was him vs Watson and into a slight breeze Watsons best was 350-odd. Sadlowski's 3 hits were 402, 396 and 404 I think, all in the fairway
