A slightly random, but hopefully fun poll.

Also...

Do you prefer the use of one colour for the front nine and one for the back?
Do you prefer numbers, crests or blank designs?

Any other flag pole or mini flag under the real flag thoughts are also welcome!

I quite like the courses that take trouble to change main flag colour depending on pin front / middle or back. Second best is little signal flag moved up and down pin but I have been caught by these in wrong place before!

I like it when there is the little flag or ball on the flag stick to identify the position (front, middle, back). But they aren't always accurate.

I can honestly say that, unless there are different colours for front, middle and back, I've never given it a second thought....

Pretty much what I was going to post. Although if my ball is close to the flag I really don't care what colour it is.

I like traffic light flags, red front, yellow middle and white back. I hate the little flags down the pole, you can't always see them and I hate same colour flags for front & back even more, it makes you have to get a hole plan which aren't always offered when you book-in and you don't realise until your on the 2nd hole that the flags are all the same, and if you did get one, they get wet if playing in the rain as they tend to be just a scrap of paper.

Keep it simple!

We have red (front) yellow (middle) and white (back) but I do like a nice check pattern. To be honest I'd like some of our big events like club championships to have a single colour (club logo) flag for every hole and make it more of a test.

Yellow out, Red back and chequered on the last.

We have the mini flags on the pole to let you know where the pin position is, this is great in theory... if they are set in the right place or not tampered with. The amount of times at my place where I've used those for club selection only to find out there in the wrong position.

Our place has red fronts, yellow middles and white backs for pin position. Green and red at times can be hard to see so Yellow or white would be my preference.

Red\Yellow\White to indicate Front\Middle\Back. Ours actually go in sequence so if the 1st is red, the 2nd will be yellow, 3rd white etc.

As I'm red/green colourblind, if it's a red flag against a bush/tree background, I really struggle to pick it up!!

I definitely prefer white and yellow, with a mini flag to designate position, or even a daily printed pin position, as you get on the scorecard at the Oxfordshire!
