With lots of talks about new clubs, fittings and what people are currently using or looking at it got me thinking if you had a solid swing and could use any iron consistently, what would you chose and why.

For me it would have to be fg62 or 714mb so sleek, like looking down at a supermodel

If I had a solid repeatable swing and hit everything solid, I really wouldn't care what I hit, I would be that good it would make no difference. It's not what they are, its who is hitting them.

I switched this summer from Ping i3s to the selection below..... having looked at alternates too .... costly but justifiably dream clubs by my own and many others views - classic and inspiring me to work harder at game.

Erm. There'd be a few. Titleist MB's are well pretty

Mizuno MP 68s were a real nice looking club

The Callaway Razr X Muscle back are a nice looking club too

There are just so many choices! Most forged irons are nice though to be fair.

Was also a fan of the Taylormade TP MB Smoked irons as well. Fairly sure Martin Kaymer still has them in the bag

Some players cavity backs from KZG probably, or may be some obscure Japanese forgings, but then I'd have to move to France and invite Retief over for dinner.

Do they have big ears, like your Zings?

Hi Murph,

The Zings now belong to my 10 year old son! He loves those thick grips, stiff shafts and upright lie angles! A perfect custom fit for an aspiring young player.. :)

And yes, Pipistrelles do have lovely big ears and are delightful little creatures..
