...I shot a 66 today (par 72)

Only went up to hit a few shots on the praccy range but it was quite mild and no-one was about. All holes were temps but I toddled off to the first tee and off I went with the intention of maybe doing 9 at most

Finished front 2 under(3 birds 1 bogey) in just over an hour so thought i'd keep going. Bugger me if I didnt nobble 4 more birdies and the rest pars for a 66 (7 birdies) first time ever had 7 even if it was temps. 2 hours 15 mins exactly and didnt see a soul

As I said , believe or not as theres noone to prove it but i'm over the moon for the first round since 17 dec. However it can only go downhill from here.....

Thats an incredible score JD, especially on temps (I assume it was temps) I dont even bother keeping a score on temps as I cant concentrate on my short game.
Really great though, a score like that in any conditions is one to remember. May be a sign of things to come this year, just hope you don't play that well if/when you play against me.

Which reminds me... we need to discuss partners at Walton Heath :D :D

Congrats, lowest ever round?

Congrats, lowest ever round?

You had a bogey ?

Well I'm not sure you're quite up to the standard I'd expect in a partner, then ;)

All that, and doing it in 2 & 1/4 hours ?

I'm still doing my bootlaces up after 2 hours, let alone walking a few miles.

Still, Mike's made his bed, he'll have to put up with you now.

:D

<font color="pink"> Oh, and don't tell anyone I said so, but nice round, btw :p

Congrats, lowest ever round?

I have been told that I am either playing with either A or B. However I better keep that to myself until the captain announces his masterful pairing selections!

Now then lads no fighting , i'm quite happy to play 6 holes with all of you , theres plenty of me to go around :D :D

Thanks for your replies guys

Seriously though it was my lowest round ever but I'm not counting it as it was temps and the course was playing short. Wedge after wedge and once you're in the groove....

Come on Craw whos A and B ??

Thanks again fellas

Have to say though the next day (yesterday) I couldnt hit a barn door and shot 80. Stupid bloomin game , gotta love it though
